It’s going to be a mix of rain, wind, heat and general misery this weekend.
A storm is coming to Ireland and it doesn’t look too lovely. Irish weather expect Alan O’Reilly explained on the Carlow Weather Facebook page: “The storm in the Atlantic has been named as Debbie, the fourth named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season as the Subtropical Storm has formed in the Atlantic 900 miles west-southwest of the Azores.
“It is expected to dissipate over the next 48 hours, but the remains of the storm will track towards Ireland Saturday and could potentially bring some much needed rain.”
While it’s not predicted to be extremely bad, Met Éireann has followed up by saying there will be “humid conditions to return this weekend, accompanied by more generally unsettled weather.
“A few heavier showers are possible in the east and north on Friday morning, but the overall trend of the day is for the showers to ease from the south, becoming increasingly isolated during the afternoon.
“Top temperatures 15C to 20C in light to moderate west to southwest breezes. Increasingly humid air spreads northeastwards over the country on Friday night, with patchy rain and drizzle developing.”
Basically, it’s going to be kinda hot/kinda rainy… and that’s about it.
