
A convicted murderer who escaped prison while serving a life sentence, has been arrested in Belfast this evening.
Thomas Valliday escaped from prison staff while attending the Ulster hospital in Dundonald.
The 27-year old is serving a life sentence at Maghaberry high security prison for the 2008 murder of west Belfast republican Frank ‘Bap’ McGreevy.
According to RTÉ News, Valliday will now be taken for interview by the police before returning to prison.
