*UPDATE: Hassan Khan has been located safe and well.*Gardaí have this afternoon issued a Child Rescue Ireland (CRI) alert for a two-year-old boy who has disappeared with his father.
Hassan Khan from Ballybrack, Dublin is believed to be in the company of his father Saleem Khan (61) and they were last seen at 3.41pm today in Ballybrack village.
Saleem is described as being 5'7, of average build and with a black beard. He is understood to be driving a red Fiat Idea with the registration number 05 D 62779.
The circumstances surrounding Hassan's disappearance are not known but CRI alerts are only issued when there is an immediate and serious risk to the welfare of the child.
Anyone with information is asked to call emergency services on 112.
