UPDATE: The Port Tunnel has reopened after a truck went on fire this evening.
Emergency services attended the scene after the incident happened shorty after 6pm this evening.
Both bores of the Dublin Port Tunnel are closed following an incident where part of a truck’s engine blew earlier this evening.
The HGV ban remains in place.
