Tressa Middleton became Britain's youngest ever mum when she gave birth to her first child, a daughter, when she was only 12 years old in 2006. The pre-teen was raped at age 11 after and was subsequently forced to give the baby up for adoption after it emerged that her brother that had molested her and was her baby's father. According to Metro, Middleton kept the identity of her attacker a secret until she gave birth. She eventually confided in a friend. Tressa explains in an interview at ITV that after the arrival of baby Annie she found it difficult to cope and started abusing drugs and alcohol, something which led to the infant being taken from her and put into care. Now, at age 23, Middleton, who now lives in Scotland, has revealed she is pregnant and is expecting a baby with fiancé Darren Young. In an interview with the Mirror, Tressa said that she had a ‘little cry’ when she saw the two positive lines because, although she was happy, she was ‘desperately sad as well’. "Not having my daughter with me still affects me every single day and I thought I was being punished for what happened with her, for letting her go," she explains. "Discovering I was pregnant was ­bittersweet. I am so excited about what the future holds and I already love my baby. I am so grateful I am finally going to be the mother I have longed to be all these years. But I don’t ever want my first child to think I abandoned her, or that I am replacing her with this new baby. I’d welcome her back tomorrow with open arms if I could and I hope she knows she will always be a part of our family."
