They have been closed since March.

Brown Thomas and Arnotts are to begin phased reopening of their stores from next week.

On Wednesday June 10, Brown Thomas’s Dublin branch will open its beauty hall, accessory hall, MAC store, Hermes store, and Louis Vuitton boutique.

Each section will operate as separate individual stores and will be accessible via different doors on the ground level of the store.

On Thursday June 11, Arnotts will reopen three separate stores, including their full beauty section, in a similar manner.

On Friday June 12, Brown Thomas Cork, Limerick and Galway will also open a number of small format stores. These too will only be accessible via street level.

All phased reopenings of Brown Thomas and Arnotts stores will adhere to strict social distancing measures. All staff will be trained in these measures prior to opening.

This comes ahead of Phase Two of the reopening of Ireland’s economy amid the coronavirus pandemic.

From June 8, small retail outlets will be permitted to reopen under the government’s guidelines in adherence with social distancing measures and other health and safety procedures.
