"With the ongoing Covid-19 developments across the country, it is our top priority to protect the health and safety of our employees, partners and consumers, in line with the latest guidance from the Government. For that reason, we have decided to cancel this year’s Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt event. We recognise that this will be disappointing news for many families, but we consider it the right thing to do. As a result of the cancellation and to mitigate any loss or disruption to our charity partner, Barnardos, and the essential services they provide, we are donating €40,000 to the charity, which is needed now, more than ever".
