Customers were devastated when the store closed in January.
Chapters bookstore is set to reopen under new ownership on Friday.
The news was announced on the shop's Twitter account on Tuesday.
"We just couldn’t let it go!" the tweet read. "The Gamesworld lads from the back of Chapter’s Middle Abbey St, Kev & Mick are the new owners of Chapters - reopening Friday 11th March!"

Although it now has new owners, most of the old staff have been kept on, as the shop stated in the comments: "Sara is still the manager and the staff are the same!"
When asked about trading in old books, one of the reasons customers love the store so much, it replied: "Trade ins of your old books are very welcome!"
Long-time customers of the store were delighted to hear the news and flooded the comments with congratulations.
"So happy, that's great news. Glad to see you back," one person wrote.
"Really good news - everyone feared it would be another superfluous hotel or office complex!" another said.
The beloved bookstore was established back in 1983 and has enjoyed massive popularity over the years.
Hundreds of people were left disappointed when it first revealed it would be closing in October 2021.
After the announcement, the store received huge support with thousands of people pouring through the doors.
