Chris Brown issues statement over rape allegations in France

"I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR..."

Chris Brown has released a statement following his arrest on suspicion of rape in the French capital.

Taking to Instagram, the singer shared an image saying: "This Bitch Lyin'", while writing that the allegations are false.

The Forever singer was taken into custody after allegations of rape were made against him by a 24-year-old woman.

French tabloid Closer reports that the woman alleged that she was raped at the US singer's hotel suite on January 15.

The 29-year-old, and two other people, are reportedly under investigation by authorities in Paris.
