Cork teenager missing from home ‘may have travelled to Dublin’

Update from the Gardaí on Saturday 21 April: “Robert Hanratty has been located safe and well. We would like to thank the public and this media for their assistance in this matter.”

 

Gardaí in Cork are seeking help from the public with the case of a missing teenager.

They’re trying to trace the whereabouts of Robert Hanratty, who was last seen last weekend.

The 16-year-old went missing from his home town of Youghal last Sunday afternoon, 15 April.

Robert is described as being 5’ 9’’ tall with brown hair and blue eyes.

When last seen he was wearing a grey tracksuit and white runners.

Gardaí believe the teenager may have travelled to Dublin since going missing.

They are appealing for any member of the public who has seen Robert or who can assist in locating him to contact Midleton Garda Station on 021 4621550 or any Garda station.
