Does this look familiar?

Garda have issued an appeal to reunite a wedding ring with its owner after it was handed in to a station in Cork.

The wedding band is a silver ring with five stones – appearing to be diamonds – across the band.

It was handed into the Bandon Garda Station.

Anyone who thinks the ring may be theirs – or recognises the ring as theirs – is asked to get in contact with the station at 023-8852239 or email [email protected]

Gardai shared a photo of the ring on Twitter on Friday, alongside an appeal to reunite it with its owner.

They wrote:

“We are hoping to find the owner of this wedding ring which was handed into #Bandon Garda Station.

“If you think it may be yours, please call 023-8852239 or email [email protected] Object ID Obj6630431.”

There is no word yet on if the owner of the ring has been able to be traced, but we’re hoping they are reunited with it very soon.
