Although it’s sad that Christmas has ended and we’ve said goodbye to another year, it does mean one thing – a fresh start with a new year and lots of Bank Holidays to go with it.
We had hoped that the proposed two extra Bank Holidays would come to fruition but, alas, they have not. Not to worry, though, there are still plenty to make the most of.
Here are the Bank Holidays dates in the Republic of Ireland and in Northern Ireland.
Republic of Ireland – Bank Holiday Dates 2017
There are 9 public holidays in Ireland each year. ROI Public holidays may commemorate a special day or other event, for example, St Patrick’s Day (17th March) or Christmas Day (25th December).
