David Attenborough quits Instagram just two months after joining

We're gonna go ahead and blame 2020 for this.

David Attenborough has bid farewell to Instagram just two months after joining the social media platform. The 94-year-old legendary filmmaker shocked the world back in September by joining the Gram to promote his Netflix documentary A Life On Our Planet.  His page quickly became the talk of the planet as he racked up over one million followers in just four hours and 44 minutes. We're all about looking on the bright side so if you want to see all the great Instagram moments from Sir David, the account is still there, but there won't be any updates as it says "Account no longer active" in the bio.   The account was originally run by members of his production team and his very first post was a video urging fans to help save the planet and do their bit to fight climate change. The video now has over 18 million views! Check it out below: We've no clue as to whether Sir David will be returning to the platform any time soon, but we can say with confidence that for a short time, he made the Gram a better place.
