Delays have been reported for Luas red line commuters after a pedestrian fell on the tracks.

The Sun reports that emergency services were called to the scene at the Red Cow stop as the pedestrian required medical assistance.

Luas have issued a statement saying that services are now back running, but that passengers should expect delays for up to an hour.

“Luas Red Line is back running again. Delays are expected line wide for up to an hour while we regulate. This may mean that trams will be diverted Connolly and Tallaght rather than the original destination.

Please be advised your Luas ticket is valid on Dublin Bus for the Duration of this disruption.”
