Dublin businessman Des Kelly has died.
Mr. Kelly, known locally as the 'carpet man', passed away peacefully last night at his home in Piercetown House, Fairyhouse Road, Dunboyne Co.Meath.
He is survived by his eight children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Tributes have been pouring in for one of Dublin's most recognisable characters, who famously closed all his shops on Sundays due to his religious beliefs.
