Fashion designer Kate Spade was found dead in her home in New York City this morning.
Law enforcement confirmed to TMZ that she was found around 10.20am local time this morning and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Reports also say she was found by her housekeeping staff in her Park Avenue home.
The designer co-founded Kate Spade handbags in the early 1990s and sold it in 2007.
In 2016, she and her partners launched a new fashion brand called Frances Valentine.
Kate married Andy Spade in 1994 and the pair welcomed their first child together in 2005.
