Detectives to Examine New Claims About Madeleine McCann

We all remember when Madeleine McCann disappeared from her parent’s holiday apartment in the Algarve, Portugal in 2007.

The case of Madeleine’s disappearance has been one of the most sensational news stories of all time. There are many theories as to what happened to the toddler who was just about to turn four when she went missing, but Madeleine’s parents have always believed that she is still alive.

The Irish Examiner reports that detectives are set to examine a new claim that Madeleine’s body may be buried near the holiday apartment where she went missing.

Stephen Birch, a self-styled investigator, has said that ground radar scans he took in the area distinctly show a burial site. He has already passed the information on to Scotland Yard.

It has been five years since Madeleine went missing.
