Donald Trump ‘Irish’ hats are no longer for sale after massive error

The ill-fated 'Irish" Make America Great Again hats that were being sold on Donald Trump's website have been pulled from the site. This follows a backlash over an error made on the hats which show a four-leaf clover rather than the shamrock, with the former symbol having no connection with Ireland. https://twitter.com/TeamTrump/status/837364114884333569?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw The link to the hat, which was on the site just earlier this month, now directs you to a page saying: "We're sorry, but the page you're looking for could not be found. Go back to our homepage and check out some of our favourite items!" But funnily, the url for the page still contains the words "official-make-america-great-again-green-hat". The gaff found itself the victim of a wave of online criticism with most of it alluding to fake news or alternative facts. The New York Times reported earlier this week that the hats had been pulled from the website with the newspaper saying: “A four-leaf clover is not a symbol of Ireland.
