Employment has never looked so tasty.

Major donut chain Krispy Kreme has announced that their factory-store in Blanchardstown will create 150 jobs for the Irish economy. Interviews for positions will take place throughout August.

According to a statement by Krispy Kreme, the roles will range “from donut makers to retail managers.” One would also hope that donut-taster is somewhere in the mix, though this is unconfirmed.

The statement further revealed details about the store:

“The Krispy Kreme’s Hotlight store, the first of its kind in Ireland, will allow customers to watch the donuts being made from scratch right before their eyes.

“The store will also have the famous Krispy Kreme Hot Light which will light up to announce when warm donuts are freshly available.”

The Hotlight store will be the first of its kind in Ireland and will open “adjacent” to the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.

It will also feature a 24-hour drive-thru, as well as a large seating area.

“All 16 varieties of Krispy Kreme’s hand-crafted, hand-finished donuts will be available to buy in the Irish store, including their famous Original Glazed donut.

“Irish customers will be able to design their own donuts and watch them be created by hand in the store.”

There are also some perks for those who apply to work at Krispy Kreme:

“Interviews are set to take place in August and three lucky new employees will get an amazing opportunity to travel to the original home of the Krispy Kreme donut, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, U.S.A.

“Once there, the employees will get to visit Krispy Kreme’s global headquarters, where Krispy Kreme manufactures its own bespoke donut baking equipment, and learn all about the company and what has made it into the global success story it is today.”
