Dublin Airport has issued an update on this weekend’s flight situation

This should allay your worries.

You can relax.

Dublin Airport has clarified that it is not asking passengers to arrive three hours ahead of their flight time.

Widespread reports today suggested that increased security checks mean people traveling through Dublin Airport would experience delays.

However, Dublin Airport Authority is now advising passengers that they’ll need to be at the airport just 90 minutes before taking off.

“The new EU passport checks apply in Schengen countries, they do not apply in Ireland, so there is no change here,” said a representative for the DAA in a statement.
