Everything you need to know about heading to Cork Pride this weekend

June marks Pride Month around the globe.

And this weekend, the streets of Dublin are set to get a lot more colourful as the Pride Parade takes over.

Yes, Saturday 24 will see the capital celebrating the LGBTQ community in a big way.

And it’s not just those taking part who will be flying the rainbow flag – Dublin Bus will be too.

Dublin Bus have rebranded in honour of this week’s celebrations, donning the slogan, “Get on board with pride” on the side of many of their buses.

Speaking at the launch of the bus, Dublin Bus Chief Executive, Ray Coyne outlined their delight at joining in:

“We are delighted to support another year of Dublin Pride. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion stems from our Equality and Diversity strategy that was first introduced in 2003.

“We are a diverse workforce serving a diverse community.”

Pride kicked off last Friday, and there have been plenty of events and activities going on around the city to mark the occasion.

Pride Parade will run from St. Stephen’s Green to Smithfield from 2pm on Saturday – we know where we’ll be.
