Get the bus to and from work?

It’s safe to say many of us were waiting on updates (that never came) this morning about what services would be running in the city with the harsh weather that’s upon us.

This morning was too bad, but from 3pm it’s expected to take a major downturn.

And so, to keep its customers informed, Dublin Bus has made a statement about its services over the next few days.

The transport company said it will be monitoring the situation closely and will take advice from the National Transport Authority.

“Met Éireann has issued an Orange Weather Warning for the Greater Dublin Area from 15.00 today, Tuesday 27 February. Dublin Bus services are operating as normal today. We are monitoring the situation closely and taking advice from Met Éireann and the National Emergency Coordination Group,” the statement read.

“We will update this page with information on any affected services as they arise. Customers are also advised to check our Twitter account;  @dublinbusnews for regular updates or call our customer service line on (01) 8734222.

“Dublin Bus will endeavour to operate all services over the coming days, however, this is subject to road and weather conditions. The safety of our customers and our employees is of paramount importance.”

Not muuuuch of an update but we’d turn the Dublin Bus Twitter notifications on just in case.
