Dublin Fire Brigade is tackling a serious fire in a hotel in Ballymun.
It is understood that the blaze broke out in the Metro Hotel just after 7.30pm.
It is thought to have originated several stories up.
Dublin Fire Brigade has said that eight engines, a turntable ladder, and command units are currently tackling the fire.
Advanced paramedics are also at the scene.

It is not known whether the rooms were occupied when the blaze broke out.
Emergency services have advised that there are severe traffic delays and urged people to avoid the area.
