This is horrible.
Last night Dublin Fire Brigade shared a photograph of one of their fire engines, which came under attack when responding to a call.
The image shows the window of the vehicle completely smashed after it was hit on Sheriff Street last night.
Unfortunately one of our fire engines came under attack whilst approaching a bonfire in the East Wall area. Fortunately no injuries 1/2 pic.twitter.com/IzcH0f5FT8

Thankfully no crew member was injured or harmed however, it forced the team to remove the fire engine from the street that night, meaning one less fire truck on duty in this busy weekend for the emergency service.
to any crew member. The unit was taken out of service for a period of time while it was repaired or replaced. Please respect our crews. pic.twitter.com/qCGpNbUeNT
