Dublin's iconic Olympia Theatre is set to be renamed as part of a new partnership deal with Three Ireland.
The long-standing theatre, which has been a staple of Dublin entertainment for well over 100 years, will be now known as the 3Olympia Theatre.
This eight-year deal was struck alongside the phone network provider as part of their leading sponsorship of live music and entertainment in Ireland.
Theatre owner Caroline Downey said the new partnership is "more important that ever in supporting the venue to reopen its doors once again."
She said: "Three has become one of Ireland’s most supportive brands in music with 3Arena and festival sponsorships as well as making a real and credible contribution to Irish music artists and we are delighted to embark on this journey with them as partners as we enter a new era in this venue’s storied history."
The 3Olympia Theatre has been closed for the past 18 months due to coronavirus pandemic. The venue will reopen next month in line with restrictions with a limited capacity for fully vaccinated attendees.
Ireland is expected to remove next to all Covid restrictions on October 22, cases and vaccine uptake depending.
