EastEnders actor Leslie Grantham has died aged 71.
The actor appeared in the popular soap from 1985 to 1989, playing the popular character ‘Dirty Den’, before later returning to the show in 2003 to resume the same role for a two-year period.
Earlier this week it was announced that Grantham had returned to the UK from Bulgaria to receive medical attention.
A statement from his agent confirmed that he passed away this morning.
