UPDATE: The Greek Minister of Defence has just made a statement about the sudden disappearance of an EgyptAir flight from Paris to Cairo which was carrying 66 people.

The plane which departed from Paris last night disappeared from radar just 20 minutes from its final destination of Cairo. EgyptAir confirmed the news via Twitter and also confirmed that there were 56 passengers and 10 crew members on board.
An informed source at EGYPTAIR stated that Flight no MS804,which departed Paris at 23:09 (CEST),heading to Cairo has disappeared from radar.

The flight took off from Paris at 11:09pm and disappeared at 2:45am when it was 10 miles into the Egyptian airspace. It is feared that the plane crashed into the Mediterranean Sea.
EgyptAir confirmed that there were 30 Egyptian, 15 French and 1 British as well as other nationalities on board the flight.
