Argentinian footballer, Emiliano Sala, has been missing for a number of weeks.
Emiliano was on a small passenger aircraft that disappeared from radar.
The plane went missing over the English Channel, close to the Casquets lighthouse, 13km north-west of Alderney.
Yesterday, it was confirmed that wreckage of the plane that was carrying Emiliano Sala had been found on the seabed of the English Channel.
The Sala family are still waiting to learn of any news of whether or not Emiliano was found onboard the wreckage.
Emiliano’s sister, Romina, has posted a heartbreaking picture of her brother’s dog on Facebook.
In the snap, Nala the dog can be seen sitting at a large window, looking out into the distance.
Romina captioned the image: “Nala is waiting for you too.”
Emiliano and his dog are said to have shared a very close bond, which makes this image even more heartbreaking and poignant.
In fact, it has been reported that Nala was part of the reason why Emiliano Sala returned to France after signing with Cardiff.
He brought his beloved dog to a kennel facility, before starting the process of moving her to his new home with him.
The search continues for Emiliano and pilot Ibbotson.
