The body recovered from the wreckage of a plane at the bottom of the English Channel has been confirmed as Emiliano Sala.
Dorset police confirmed the news last night.
In a statement last night, the police said that they “will continue to be supported by specially-trained family liaison officers.
“Our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.”
“HM Coroner will continue to investigate the circumstances of this death supported by Dorset Police.”
And now, Romina Sala, Emiliano’s sister, has taken to Instagram to pay tribute to her beloved brother.
Posting a wonderful picture of her brother standing on a football pitch, Romina wrote:
“Your soul in my soul will shine forever, thus illuminating the time of my existence. I love you.”

Emiliano was on a small passenger aircraft that disappeared from radar.
The plane went missing over the English Channel, close to the Casquets lighthouse, 13km north-west of Alderney.
The wreckage of the plane was discovered during the week.
