Before becoming Head of Epsom College last September, Emma worked as head teacher at Croydon High School.
Surrey Police issued a statement following the discovery of Emma and her family;
"Surrey Police can confirm that the bodies found were Emma Pattison (45), Head of Epsom College, her daughter Lettie (7), and her husband George (39).
Specialist officers are supporting Emma and George's family during this heartbreaking time.
"An investigation is being carried out to establish the circumstances of their deaths.
"Police are confident that this is an isolated incident with no third-party involvement."
Detective Chief Inspector Kimball Edey added, "We will conduct a thorough investigation into what took place last night.
"We hope to be able to bring some peace in these traumatic circumstances."
