Family of murdered Limerick man Jason Corbett to appear on The Late Late this week

The family will appear on this Friday’s show.

Siblings Tracey, Wayne and Marilyn Corbett are to appear on this week’s Late Late for their first major Irish television interview since their brother’s murder trial.

The family of Limerick man Jason Corbett are to discuss to events that lead up to their brother’s death as well as what life was like during the trial and since his killers have been put behind bars.

Jason’s killers, his wife Molly Martens and her father Thomas, were convicted of second-degree murder after a four-week trial in August of last year in a story that shocked onlookers in both Ireland and the US.

Jason’s sister Tracey spoke shortly after the verdict was announced, saying:

“We will never get over Jason’s death. He was beaten and battered in his own home.

“There really are no adequate words to describe the pain, agony and despair of Jason’s murder.”

Also appearing on the show this week will be teenager Luke O’Reilly Kane and his mum Maura and Nicky Manning who will be discussing how they dealt with coming out as transgender and their journey while transitioning.

The Hairy Bikers Si King and Dave Myers are also going to be on the show to show off their incredible weight loss and will reveal exactly how they managed it.

As well as that, Majella O’Donnell will be making an appearance to share what really happens with she and hubby Daniel head off for their B&B Road Trip.

Former Leinster player Ian McKinley will be sharing his story after he was forced to retire after an eye injury left him unable to play. However, thanks to the help of modern technology, Ian is now back playing.

And with music from Altan and Robert Mizzell, there will be lots to keep you entertained this Friday night.
