Traffic diversions are this evening in place around the Gardiner Street and Parnell Street area in Dublin following a collision.
A female cyclist is in a serious condition as a result.

TheJournal.ie reports that the cyclist “was involved in a collision with a female pedestrian on Gardiner’s Street at around 7pm this evening”.
Both women have been taken to the Mater Hospital.

On Monday evening at 9pm, Gardiner Street remains closed to traffic, with local diversions in place.
