According to Met Éireann: "Scattered showers will continue to occur across the west and midwest but otherwise the day will be dry with hazy sunshine and mixed cloud. Milder than recent with highs of 7 to 10 degrees in light southwesterly breezes." Only a few scattered showers! Sure, be grand. And as for tonight: "Clear this evening but cloud will increase overnight with outbreaks of rain spreading across west-Munster and Connacht later. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees." OK, so it's not absolutely great, but it's not absolutely terrible either.
