We have a sneak peak at Selling Sunset spinoff Selling The OC – and oh, the drama

Katy Brennan

We can’t wait.

A sneak peak clip of the new Netflix series Selling the OC aired during the MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday night and it didn’t disappoint when it came to drama.

The new Selling Sunset spin-off promises “a fresh set of realtors as they square off, competing to establish themselves at The Oppenheim Group’s second office on the Orange County coast”.

The teaser opens mid-argument, with realtor Alexandra Rose saying to co-star Polly Brindle: “She told me a lot of s**t that she had talked about me and then made a comment about you… why would I lie about that?”

Another castmate, Kayla Cardona, jumps in and asks if the two are arguing about a rumour that Alexandra “slept with someone” to get a listing.

And things just escalate even more from there.

The show is set to follow twin brothers Brett and Jason Oppenheim as they launch a brand new office in Newport Beach, California.

The cast also includes Alex Hall, Alexandra Jarvis, Austin Victoria, Brandi Marshall, Gio Helou, Lauren Brito, Sean Palmieri and Tyler Stanaland.

Last month, at the Selling Sunset reunion, the official trailer for the upcoming show was released and, while most of the focus was on feuds and tension, it also showed that the cast are about to get very competitive.

“I really just want to show everyone that this is the level that I play in, and to not f**k with me,” said realtor Gio Helou.

In other Selling Sunset news, Christine Quinn has confirmed she’ll be appearing on the next season of the original show, despite leaving her role at The Oppenheim Group.

The 33-year-old left her realtor job earlier this year when her co-star and co-worker Emma Hernan accused her of trying to bribe a client to work with her instead.

She has since started up her own real estate business RealOpen with her husband Christian Richard.

Selling The OC arrives on Netflix later this year.
