The brand new show will be released in 2022.

Netflix has announced a Selling Sunset spin-off starring Jason Oppenheim called Selling The OC.

Filming is currently underway for the new show, which will follow the Oppenheim group founder as he expands the company by opening a new office in Newport Beach.

The show will feature a new cast including Austin Victoria, Brandi Marshall, and several other agents.

Despite online rumours that Heather Rae El Moussa would star in the new spin-off, Variety has confirmed that she will not be making an appearance.

It is still unknown whether any Selling Sunset cast members — such as Christine Quinn and Mary Fitzgerald— will make guest appearances as production has only just begun.

However, viewers will have a good chance of seeing Chrishell Stause on both Selling The OC and Selling Sunset as she is currently dating Jason. US Weekly confirmed that the star’s relationship with her boss after turned romantic following her divorce from actor Justin Hartley.

The series is due to hit Netflix at some point in 2022.

The news comes as Selling Sunset season four is set to be released on Netflix on 24 November.

In March, Christine Quinn told E! News that the drama the show is famous for would be bigger than ever.

“The houses are bigger, the drama’s bigger,” she said. “It’s fabulous. You guys are going to love it.”

Viewers will notice there are a few fresh faces to be seen, as brand new agents Vanessa Villela and Emma Herman join the cast.

“Those Oppenheim couches are getting a little more crowded in Season 4,” Netflix tweeted. “Vanessa Villela, a Mexican-American novela star turned real estate agent and Emma Hernan, an entrepreneur who has an interesting history with the ladies have joined the cast.”

The hit TV show has also been renewed for a fifth season, although a release date is yet to be announced.
