What is the series about?

The series is adapted from Carley Fortune's best-selling beach read Every Summer After, and is anticipated to be one of the hit shows of the summer.

The eight-part series tells the story of Percy, played by Sadie Soverall, a journalist in her twenties who heads back to Barry's Bay, the lake she spent every summer at growing up, after tragedy strikes.

Back at what was once her happy place, she's confronted by her childhood best friends Charlie and Sam, played by Matt Cornett and Michael Bradway.

Percy and Sam, in particular, were inseparable for six years, spending every summer together, until one fateful year when everything changed. Now that Percy is back in Barry's Bay, the pair must confront their past as old feelings arise. The show follows an alternate timeline told over the course of six past summers and one present weekend.
