A five-year-old girl in Alabama has been forced to sign a ‘suicide and homicide contract’ in her school after she pointed a crayon at a classmate pretending it was a gun.

The contract states that she will not kill herself or anybody else. Her mother Rebecca is claiming that the teachers and staff at E R Dickson Elementary School also gave her daughter a questionnaire on suicidal thoughts following the crayon incident.

Rebecca, who did not reveal her surname to reporters, told Local 15 News that the school had said that her daughter had drawn something that “resembled a gun.”

“This isn’t right. Elizabeth is five years old,” she said. “According to them she pointed a crayon at another student and said, ‘pew pew’,” she continued, adding that the school had also asked her daughter if she was depressed before being given the Mobile County Public School Safety Contract to sign.

“Most of these words on here, she’s never heard in her life..she said, ‘What is suicide mommy? Daddy what is suicide?’”

Rebecca also stated that she had not been asked for her consent and that the school’s request that her daughter see a psychiatrist was also unnecessary.
