The shooting took place at a shopping centre in Washington state.
Four women has been shot dead and others critically injured according to reports.
Police are still searching for the gunman. CCTV footage of the suspect was released, which revealed young Hispanic male.
The shootings occurred around 7pm local time at the Cascade Mall in Burlington, Washington, about 65 miles north of Seattle.
