Four-year-old Irish boy drowned in tragic accident

A tragic accident.

A four-year-old Irish boy has died after drowning in a pool in the Caribbean.

Finn McCarty originally from Blackrock, Co. Dublin passed away at 3pm local time in Guaynabo, on the north coast of Puerto Rico.

It has been reported that the family just relocated to the area just two weeks ago before the heart breaking tragedy happened.

Tony and Sinead McCarthy, originally from Co.Kerry are believed to be with relatives and their two young children.

The Puerto Rican police are treating the incident as a tragedy and have told the Sun newspaper

“ An unfortunate incident was reported at Palma de Coco Street in the Palm Real estate in Guaynabo.

A call to the 911 system alered authorities to a drowned minor at this address. Upon arrival, unitl from Guaynabo District found the body of Finn McCarty Reyes, aged four, drowned in the swimming pool area.

The alarm has been raised by Anthoney McCarthy, a resident in the mentioned complex and the father of the boy.”
