Heartbreaking.
Four young men have lost their lives following a fatal car accident in Donegal.
The victims are all said to be in their twenties and from Donegal.
The crash, which happened, on a local road near Magheraroarty, Gortahork, was described by Gardaí as “devastating”.
All four of the victims were travelling in the same car, and no other vehicle was involved.
The emergency services were alerted to the crash shortly before 9pm.
Local gardaí secured the scene and ambulances and fire crews drove from across the county.
Sadly, despite efforts, all four men were pronounced dead at the scene.
The victims have been identified and gardaí have spoken with the families of the deceased.
Last night, a Garda source said: “It’s a devastating scene. All four lads are from the locality and would be well-known in the area.”
Local Sinn Féin TD Pearse Doherty said there was a “cloud of sadness over the area”.
