The Hawe family funeral will take place this afternoon.
Alan and Clodagh Hawe, and their three young sons Liam (13), Niall (11) and Ryan (6), were found dead at their home in Barconey, Ballyjamesduff on Monday morning.
Gardaí believe Alan Hawe killed his wife and children before taking his own life.
The five members of the family will be buried together.
The funeral mass will take place at 4pm today at St Mary’s Church in Castlerahan in Co Cavan.
The burial will then take place in the connecting cemetery
Clodagh’s mother, Mary Coll, has said that she has forgiven Alan for the murders according to reports.
“She said the man who did this to her daughter and her beautiful boys was not the Alan she knows and loves.” The Irish Mirror reported.
