There was no overall winner of last night's Euromillions jackpot, despite this, one lucky pundit from the Gaeltacht area of Galway scooped a hefty sum in the quick-pick draw.
The winning quick-pick ticket was sold the night before the draw on Thursday, at Siopa Dowd Esso Service Station in Carna, Connemara. The lucky man or woman is now €500,000 richer.
The National Lottery advises all players to check their tickets.
