Gardai arrest man in his 40s after Cork stabbing
A 27 year old man was stabbed to death in the early hours of Saturday morning in Co. Cork
A 42 year old man has been arrested by Gardai since the attack and an investigation is underway.
A 75 year old man is currently in a serious condition in hospital following the attack, which Gardai say happened in a house in Carrigaline at around 3.30am on Saturday morning.
The 27 year old man was discovered in the home in Seaview Avenue with serious stab wounds.
While emergency services attempted to revive him, he sadly died at the scene.
His body currently remains at the scene and is being preserved.
The 75 year old has been admitted to Cork University Hospital with serious stab wounds.
The man who has been arrested remain in custody in Gurranabraher Garda Station
