Gardaí Have Identified The Body Found In Kildare Canal

It follows the discovery of the body on January 16th

It has been three days since a body was found in a canal in Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

RTÉ News have reported that the body has been identified as Kenneth O’Brien, a 33-year-old from Clondalkin in West Dublin.The JCB operator and diesel fitter had recently returned from Australia. He had a partner and was a father.

They report that O’Brien, a JCB operator and diesel fitter had returned from Australia quite recently and leaves behind a partner and was a father.

He had been reported missing last Saturday, having been last seen on Friday at his home.

Gardaí have issued an appeal for information and are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen or had any contact with Mr O’Brien since the early hours of Friday morning.
