Gardaí Investigate as Body of Man Found in Carlow

One man has been found dead and a second man was seriously injured at a house in Carlow this morning.

Gardaí were called to the scene of a house on the outskirts of Tullow, County Carlow, this morning. It is understood that neighbours contacted the emergency services when they heard noises.

On arriving at the scene, Gardaí purportedly found one man dead and another seriously injured. The second man was rushed to hospital.

According to reports, the man’s death is being treated as suspicious.

A statement from the authorities read: “Gardaí in Tullow, Co Carlow are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a male (early 30’s) in a house at Graigeowen, Tullow, Co Carlow shortly after 9.00am this morning.”

It was also reported that the second male, who was found at the house with serious injuries,  has been removed to St. Luke’s General Hospital in Kilkenny.
