The death is currently being treated as unexplained as Gardaí await the results of the man's postmortem.
Gardaí in Co. Donegal are launching an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in Letterkenny.
The man, who was aged in his 60s, was found at a house in Sylvan Park in Letterkenny yesterday morning.
Ambulance services attended the scene, and then alerted the Gardaí who arrived shortly after 2am.
The man was pronounced dead shortly after.
The scene at Sylvan Park has since been preserved, and the local coroner as well as the State Pathologist have been made aware of the case.
Gardaí are currently treating the man's death as unexplained. The results of the postmortem will later determine the course of their investigation.
