Gardaí investigating after woman knocked onto train tracks in Dublin
Video footage of the incident emerged on social media this weekend.
Gardaí are investigating an incident in Dublin which saw a woman falling onto train tracks underneath a stationary train.
In CCTV footage, the woman can be seen walking along the platform when a youth lunges at her, while another thrusts the wheel of their bike at her causing her to fall between the platform and the train.
The woman is then helped by people on the platform but it is believed that she suffered injuries in the incident.
Thankfully, the woman was pulled clear before the train left the station.
The incident occurred on 1 April this year, and while Gardaí said they do not comment on social media videos, they confirmed they're investigating an "incident of assault" that occurred at Howth Junction Dart Station.
“An investigation is ongoing into this matter," a Garda spokesperson said.
"No arrests have been made at this time.”
