Gardaí launch investigation following ‘medical emergency’ at house in Kilkenny

Four teenagers were hospitalised following a medical emergency in Kilkenny.

Gardaí have launched an investigation following a medical emergency at a house in Kilkenny.

According to The Irish Mirror, four teenagers were hospitalised on February 17th.

Gardaí were called to a house in Mooncoin, south Kilkenny on Friday morning.

Emergency services also arrived at the scene shortly before 11 am.

One girl and three boys were rushed to University Hospital Waterford.

One boy was later transferred to Cork University Hospital, Gardaí confirmed.

The conditions of the four teens are not yet known.

Gardaí confirmed that all four teenagers are receiving medical treatment.

It is not yet known what happened, but Gardaí are investigating the incident.

They confirmed they arrived at the scene on Friday morning.

The house is located in Comeragh View, Mooncoin.

Gardaí were called to a “medical incident”, a spokesperson confirmed.

“Three males and one female, all in their teens, were taken to Waterford University Hospital to receive treatment.

“No further information is available at this time”.
