Get the barbecue out because we’re finally getting SUN this weekend

Finally.

It's been a long couple of months (years, it feels like years) since we've seen a bit of sunshine in this country. As of late, it's been wind, rain, and shocking amounts of snow that have kept us indoors, breaking umbrellas, and generally complaining about everything in the world. This weekend, however, it's all about to change and we'll finally get the weather deserve. Temperatures could even hit up to 20 degrees in some parts of the country so, you know, pretty ideal. According to Met Eireann, it could get as hot as 18 degrees on Wednesday, and although a few showers are still possible then, Thursday will be dry across the country with temperatures between 15 and 17 degrees. Heading onto Friday and through to Saturday, it's expected to reach 20 degrees in some places in the west of Ireland, and 18 degrees in others. There's going to be a few sunny spells too with the chance of the odd shower but we are crossing our fingers, toes, and all other possible limbs that those stay to a minimum. We're not sticking the sun beds out yet but the BBQ is definitely making an appearance, like.
