Ordering in restaurants can be a real ordeal.
There's so much pressure to read the menu in a matter of seconds while chat to your mate and also be ready by the time a member of staff come over.
In Oregon in the U.S., Emily Wagoner at a Pita Pit in Oregon enjoying some Salt and Vinegar flavoured crisps (or 'chips' in the US) when she realised that the black pepper on her food was a little chunky.
Upon closer inspection, Emily came to realise that the pepper on her crisps was in fact, DEAD ANTS.
Explaining how she came to realise her mortifying faux pas, Emily warned her fellow crisp-lovers about what the pepper actually constituted.
"never go to pita pit ever OMFG literal dead ants all over my chips and I thought it was seasoning so I ate them"
After her tweet went viral, Pita Pit got in touch to apologise and give Emily a $50 gift card.

But considering she got DEAD ants on her crisps, I'm not entirely sure it's enough.
I'm currently praying that I never get ants in my Tayto... God forbid.
